General Description
The HT1621 is a 128 pattern (32´4), memory mapping, and multi-function LCD driver. The S/W configuration feature of the HT1621 makes it suitable for multiple LCD applications including LCD modules and display subsystems. Only three or four lines are required for the interface between the host controller and the HT1621. The HT1621 contains a power down command to educe power consumption.

以下这个就应该熟悉并了解清楚其功能,这就是HT1621/22的电源及控制信号
 /CS
     Chip selection input with pull-high resistor When the CS is logic high, the data and command read from or written to the HT1621 are disabled. The serial interface circuit is also reset. But if CS is at logic low level and is input to the CS pad, the data and command transmission between the host controller and the HT1621 are all enabled.
/RD
    READ clock input with pull-high resistor Data in the RAM of the HT1621 are clocked out on the falling edge of the RD signal. The clocked out data will appear on the DATA line. The host controller can use the next rising edge to latch the clocked out data.
/WR
    WRITE clock input with pull-high resistor Data on the DATA line are latched into the HT1621 on the rising edge of the WR signal.
DATA
     I/O Serial data input/output with pull-high resistor
VSS     Negative power supply, GND
VLCD  LCD power input
VDD    Positive power supply

Display memory – RAM
The static display memory (RAM) is organized into 32´4 bits and stores the displayed data. The contents of the RAM are directly mapped to the contents of the LCD driver. Data in the
RAM can be accessed by the READ, WRITE,and READ-MODIFY-WRITE commands. The following is a mapping from the RAM to the LCD pattern:
左面是HT1621的DDRAM显示地址表 右面的则是HT1622的DDRAM
HT1621DDRAM表  HT1622  DDRAM
 列SEG0~SEG31就是RAM的地址,地址格式是xxA5~A0, 列COM0~COM3则是显示数据(1显示,0不显示),格式是xxxxC0~C3(低四位)或C0~C3xxxx(高四位)
上面的表看得明白吗?明白了继续以下内容
写时序:
HT1621/1622写时序
上面的是单地址写,也就是写一个地址写一个数据,地址需要手动改变
下面的是连续地址写,也就是地址只写一次,然后连续写显示数据
两个的区分是/CS的电平不同
前面的101表示写显示数据,100表示写指令
